Pointbreak Plumbing & Gas are licensed gas fitters in both Qld and NSW to install, repair, extend, alter and commission Type A gas devices, for both natural gas and LPG supply.
This means we carry out gas fitting works on: installing a system from scratch; extending or shortening a system to accomodate more or less appliances; repairs to gas equipment such as appliances, regulators and pipework; designing and sizing a system to meet your current and future needs; installing appliances such as cooktops and hot water units and the upgrade or change-over of appliances. We also provide safety checks, pressure tests and when we undertake any work on a gas system we always provide a gas compliance certificate and plate so that you know work has been carried out to gas fitting regulations.
While gas is fantastic for cooking, heating and hot water delivery, if in the wrong hands it can have devastating effects. Only people licensed to do gas fitting works can work on your gas system, including appliances connected to it. Gas Appliances for Cooking
Cooking with gas is a great way to get things done, whether it be a cooktop, oven, grill, duel fuel freestanding cooker and even your BBQ, we are your local gas fitter on the Gold Coast to install, change and maintain these appliances.
Most cooking appliances are able to be converted between natural gas and LPG, so whatever supply you have available an appliance can be installed to current Australian standards and manufacturer instructions so that your warranty stays in effect. If purchasing an appliance make sure it has an AGA approval number attached or it won’t be able to be installed.
On completion of gas fitting works we issue you with a compliance certificate, which is your record of who did the work, what work was completed, and all of our details including Licence Number. A copy is also sent to your gas supplier if applicable.
